Kandangan, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Combined forces of HSS Traffic Police, POM TNI (military police) and Kodim (District Military Command) 1003 Kandangan and the HSS Transportation Agency ticketed three trontons that exceeded charge or tonnage limit at 21:30, Friday (21/5).
HSS Police Chief AKBP Sukendar Eka Restiyan Putra through the Head of Public Relations Iptu Agus Wonartono explained the three tronton cars that exceeded tonnages were a cement carrier fleet partner of PT Conch which passing on state roads.
The ticketing related to 2016 Patuh Operation chaired by the Head HSS Traffic Police AKP Sabilal Mahmud. It managed to crack and ticketed 15 violators, including the three trontons.
"For a while the offenders' vehicles detained at a Kandangan bus terminal. If ticket fines paid in the Kandangan District Court they will be released," he said.
Meanwhile a local resident, Fahmi, said strict action against the carrier fleet exceeds the tonnage is necessary, because of damage to roads of public facilities.
"Moreover the national road, very dangerous to severe damage and endangering other road users," he said.
