Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin Police Narcotics Unit had destroyed crystal methamphetamine worth Rp1 billion obtained from catches in September and October 2015.
"We destroyed the sabu-sabu on Wednesday (18/11) morning around 11:00," said chief of drug unit Commissioner Awilzan Sik in Banjarmasin, Friday.
He said crystal meth worth Rp1 billion was destroyed by a blender and suspects witnessed illicit goods belongs to them.
The suspects were present saw the destruction of evidence with a blank stare. They have to let go and accept it.
Awilzan say by eradicating crystal meth worth Rp1 billion weighing 500 grams that means there are 16,447 people in the region who have been rescued.
"Eradication of the illicit drug will continue in this region, and we are currently developing some drug cases with greater evidence," he said.
