Regent of Banjar Saidi Mansyur and Deputy Regent Habib Idrus Al-Habsyie handed over assistance to residents whose houses affected by the 2021 flood and landslides.

The stimulant aid was handed over symbolically at the coordination meeting of the Banjar District Government's working units (SKPD) which was attended by heads of agencies or offices, as well as the management of the local government-owned companies (BUMD). 

According to Regent Saidi Mansyur, the handover was delayed due to data collection was carried out throughly until it could be submitted to people affected by flood and landslides. 

"The stimulant aid continues to be monitored so it can be channeled properly and be used as well as possible as assistance from the local government," he said. 

Based on Banjar Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) data there are 918 families or 918 houses of the recipients with the amount of funds disbursed more than Rp18 billion. 

"The recipients are spread over 14 sub-districts with varying amount of aid, namely Rp10 million for lightly damaged house, Rp25 million for moderate-damaged house, and Rp50 million for heavily damaged," said Head of BPBD Banjar Ahmad Solhan.
