The State Intelligence Agency (BIN) of South Kalimantan Region provided one thousand doses of COVID-19 vaccine as it facilitated vaccination for children aged 6-11 year at the state elementary school SDN Jambu Hilir Baluti 2 and SDN Kandangan Utara 2 in South Hulu Sungai (HSS) District.

HSS Regent H. Achmad Fikry and Head of South Kalimantan BIN Brig. Gen. Dr. Heri Armanto, Regional Secretary H Muhammad Noor, heads of related agencies, and Head of HSS BIN Hartono were attending to witness the vaccination.

"We invite parents to continue to encourage the vaccination program for SD students, so as to build communal immunity and avoid the COVID-19 pandemic," said the regent, Tuesday (January 18, 2022).

He hoped that the support, as BIN did here, would continue. HSS child vaccination has only reached 11.94 percent of more that 23,000 vaccines.

"Of course it is also to educate the nation's life as mandated in the opening of the 1945 Constitution. This activity will certainly support full face-to-face learning, so that everything can run safely and smoothly,” said Head of South Kalimantan BIN.
