Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin Police Criminal Investigation Unit nabbed a nursing college student suspected of raping a midwifery student.
"The perpetrator before the rape allegedly threatened the victim with two types of weapons," said Chief Criminal Police unit Commissioner Wildan Aberd SIK here on Monday.
He said the perpetrator of immoral deed was identified as G (23), nursing student, resident of Palangkaraya. While the victim is a student of midwifery. She and the perpetrator are still in internship at a hospital in Banjarmasin.
The incidence of rape was carried out in actor's boarding at Jalan Ratu Zaleha, East Banjarmasin, on July 24, 2015 at around 16:00 pm.
After the incident, the victim accompanied by her father reported the perpetrator acts as threatened with a sharp weapon, hit and raped and corroborated by a hospital examination results.
Banjarmasin Police Criminal Investigation Unit then conducted an investigation and caught G on July 28, 2015, around 12:45 pm.
Offender named as suspects and arrested. He was charged under Article 285 of the Penal Code About Rape is threatened with 12 years in prison.
