Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Transportation Minister Ignatius Jonan said the flow of Lebaran (Eid Mubarak) 2015 more regularly so as to provide comfort for the travelers to return home.


"Homebound (known as mudik) flow more regular, all modes of transport smoothly," said Transportation Minister in front of the Lebaran transport integrated post at Syamsudin Noor Airport Banjarmasin in Banjarbaru on Wednesday.

He visit the province to monitor the flow of Lebaran trasportation at the local airport and at Trisakti Bandarmasih Port in Banjarmasin.

According to the him, flights in all the airport more neatly and according to schedule without any hindrance, including at Syamsudin Noor Airport, despite surge of passengers.

"The entire airport tinged surge in the number of passengers, such as in Syamsudin Noor that reaches 8,333 people at H-3 or Tuesday (14/7)," said Minister.

He explained that, although the airport filled with passengers in addition to the bustle of the airport increased but flight schedules either coming or leaving remains smooth.

"Soekarno Hatta became very busy and congested flight, also Juanda Airport in Surabaya, but the entire flight schedule running smoothly and normal," he said.

In addition to mentioning the increased activity at the airport, he tolf such activity of ferry from Merak to Bakauheni and vice versa is also smooth.

Then, the activity at the Port of Gilimanuk smoothly and normally as the ship waiting time of about 15 minutes so no buildup of passengers and goods.

Furthermore, train travel schedule smoothly, including the bus terminal and the flow of traffic on the highway in general is orderly and smooth though tinged with traffic accidents.

"The peak flow back and forth in some areas occur on Tuesday (14/7) yesterday, so now all modes of transport smoothly without a hitch," he said.
