Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The Army (TNI-AD) conducts operasi pasar or market with subsidized prices a thousand tons of sugar in South Kalimantan.


In Banjarmasin, operasi pasar conducted in four places, namely at the Koramil (Sub-district Military Command) South Banjarmasin, in Koramil East Banjarmasin, in the area of  ferry dock Tamban - North Alalak, also on West Banjarmasin Sub-district office yard, Monday (13/7).

"This is part of operasi pasar with 6 thousand tons of sugar program by Regional Military Command VI/Mulawarman in South Kalimantan," said the District Military (Kodim) 1007 Commander Lt. Col. Erwin in West Banjarmasin.

Not only sugar, other demands are also sold at subsidized prices. While at least seven distributors favors inexpensive market held by Kodim 1007 and Banjarmasin Disperindag, namely CV Nella Aftah, H Fahrul, Indofood, Mayora, Milkis, Coca Cola and Wingfood.

"I bought 60 eggs to make cake for Eid," said Saniah, residents of Gang Al Kadar Pelambuan, who bought eggs for Rp1,000 each than normal market prices Rp1300-1400.

West Banjarmasin Sub-district Head Husni Thamrin said: "Market operation is held in the community who really need and we are ready to cooperate for similar activities in the future."
