Balikpapan, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina guarantee the availability or stock of subsidized fuel (BBM) diesel and premium gasoline during Ramadan 1436 Hijri.
"Estimated fuel demand in the region of Kalimantan for subsidized diesel and gasoline during fasting and Eid is not increase significantly, which is in the range of 6,095 kl per day (Premium) and 2,250 kl per day (solar)," said External Relations Senior Supervisor Pertamina Region VI Kalimantan, Andar Titi Lestari, through a press release on Monday.
Based on historical data in 2013 and 2014, the average realization at that time was relatively similar to other periods. But as anticipation, Pertamina has prepared an additional allocation of 5-10 percent of the normal allocations, so it can be used in case of a surge in demand beyond prediction.
For aviation fuel, Pertamina increase stock to 13 percent of the distribution of the normal average monthly 17,302 kl became 19,559 kl.
"The increase be prepared in June-July 2015 or during Ramadan and Eid. Because there is a current of mudik (homebound) before Eid and the backflow after Eid," said Andar.
