Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Water Police Unit (Satpolair) of Banjarmasin City Police investigating the case of finding body in the territorial waters of Martapura River.
"The body is a male. Regarding the cause of death of the man we're investigating," said Satpolair head AKP Untung Widodo in Banjarmasin, Tuesday.
The discovery of the bodies at around 14:30 Tuesday afternoon was horrendous residents around the rice block of Sudimampir Market.
He said the dead man was discovered by residents across Sudimampir. He was using brown shorts and yellow T-shirt.
Mr X corpse was found in a prone position. Residents and volunteers along with Satpolair members immediately evacuated the body. The body of an estimated 40-year-old immediately taken to the morgue of Ulin General Hospital.
"The corpse brought to the morgue for post mortem to determine if his death was of violence or purely due to drowning," he said.
For citizens who lost family member can directly go to the Satpolair headquarters in Martapura Baru Port in Trisakti Port area Banjarmasin.
