Martapura, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The National Commission for Fisheries Guidance (KPPN) appreciates the success of marine and fisheries development achieved by Banjar District, South Kalimantan.
"Banjar District has managed to realize a development program, including in the field of fisheries and marine," said a member of KPPNs Sumardi Suriatna on the sidelines of a working visit in Martapura on Monday.
He explained that the working visit was aimed at establishing the duties and functions of KPPN in providing advice and input to the Minister of Marine and Fisheries.
"The advice and input will become consideration in formulating policies and strategies of fisheries extension, thus increasing the productivity of fisheries," he said.
It dig up information about the tips that have been done by Banjar Administration, especially in the field of fisheries and marine believed to have been well managed.
"In addition, we explore the barriers and obstacles that are often encountered in the successful development of Banjar in field of fisheries and maritime affairs," he said.
