"Document of its environmental impact assessment (EIA) was already there. Supervision is very tight from the Ministry of Health. So it has a very safe management of waste later, will not throw carelessly" she said in Banjarmasin, Thursday.
She made sure, municipal government hospital later will not treat waste carelessly, but in accordance with the standards supervision by the government and the Ministry of Health (MoH). "So I'm sure it not going to pollute the river," she said.
The hospital development plan has been exposed in the Ministry of Health, and of course, with a mature thought related to waste production later to be managed properly so as not to pollute the environment, especially to pollute Martapura River.
"So that's our guarantee of the existence of public concern over the possibility of leakage of hospital waste later to Martapura River," said Diah who became head of Health Agency for the past two mayors.
