Banjarbaru Mayor HM Aditya Mufti Ariffin seeks to find opportunities from central government programs through a number of ministries to help the city realizes it's advanced, religious, and prosperous (or what so-called Juara) vision.

"We will strive for the central (government) through the ministries to help build the city, so it competes for other regions and makes Banjarbaru more advanced," he said here on Sunday. 

He said that strategic steps are needed to address the limited local budget (APBD), so the development could continue.

On the other hand, the central government through the ministries has prepared various development programs that be utilized by each region to support their development programs. 

"So, we just need to be proactive in approaching a number of ministries to see what programs can be implemented in the regions. If they are realized, will be very helpful for the regions," said the former member of House of Representative's Commission III who has relations in the ministries. 

Approaches he has been taken was to the Minister of National Development Planning (PPN/Bappenas) Suharso Manoarfa and Youth and Sports Minister Zainuddin Amali. 

"Our visit (silaturahim) to the PPN Minister/Bappenas head and Youth and Sports Minister to ask for support for the construction of a sports stadium. The two ministers responded positively and supported the plan," he said.
