The District Secretary of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) H Muhammad Noor received the visit of the South Kalimantan executive board (DPD) of the Indonesian Settlement and Housing Development Association (APERSI) in Kandangan.

Chairman of the DPD APERSI Mukhtar Lutfi here said that in 2021 the association targeted by the Ministry of PUPR (Public Works and Public Housing) to build as many as 15,000 houses in the South Kalimantan region.

"Therefore, in order to achieve this, we will always work together with all local government in South Kalimantan," he said, Tuesday (Apr 6, 2021).

The Regional Secretary HM Noor said the housing construction program for low-income people around 15 thousand in South Kalimantan is quite high.

According to him, HSS has 11 sub-districts, while housing development for the community is around Kandangan, Sungai Raya, Padang Batung, and Angkinang sub-districts.

HSS, he said, still needs housing development, especially for low-income people.

"Hopefully in the future APERSI will communicate more intensely with the HSS government. We hope that this program can be carried out in HSS," he said.

Also attending were Head of HSS Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office, Head of Public Works and Spatial Planning Office, Head of Public Housing, Settlement and Environment Office, and Head of Protocol and Leadership Communication.
