Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - A joint team to evacuate suspected nose of Airasia flight QZ8501 forced to delay shipping to Pulau Sembilan, after intercepted by waves as high as two meters.


"The team that using a Kotabaru Water Police ship now taking shelter and rest in Port Mekar Putih, West Pulaulaut," said Kotabaru SAR Post Coordinator, Zulkifli, Tuesday.

The plan is team will continue the voyage to Pulau Sembilan on Wednesday (21/1) at around 05:00 or 6:00 am.

"It is estimated that these hours sea conditions shady not like today when high waves and strong winds," added member of Kotabaru SAR Post Rescuer, Adi Maulana.

The suspected muzzle of AirAsia, was found by fisherman from Karang Hamlet, Tanjung Nyiur, Sub-district Pulau Sembilan, Kotabaru, about five miles from the island of Marabatuan.

"The object was found by fisherman Nita on Monday (19/1) at around 11:15 and was directly taken to the house of the Tanjung Nyiur chief village for safekeeping," said Zulkifli, who claimed to get a report from the Pulau Sembilan Military Commander (Danramil), Sergeant Major Ridho.
