The District Government of Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan, carried out a second dose of vaccine for medical workers and public officials.
"The second vaccination for medical workers and public officials is held in Puskesmas (community health center) Batulicin," said Head of Puskesmas Batulicin drg S Puji Lestari, Monday.
She said vaccination is carried out as a booster to increase immunity to be more optimal and it will be formed in a maximum of three months. Thus it is hoped to end the spread of COVID-19 in the community.

Before receiving the vaccine shot, each participant had to pass through registration to show the first vaccine shot card, then screening and history taking, vaccination, and the last was observation.
The second vaccination involves a series of questions and tests, such as allergies, measurements of body temperature, and blood pressure.
"From the results of vaccination there was no KIPI (post-immunization follow-up) and all vaccine recipients were safe after 30 minutes of observation," she said.
