Banjarmasin, (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin Police Chief Kombes PolWahyono on Monday confirmed, police will strictly supervise the entire gas filling station or SPBU in his jurisdiction.

The new police chief statement follows news that subsidized fuel prices to be raised by the new administration of President Joko Widodo and Vice President Jusuf Kalla.

"I will watch and put officers on alert at every gas station, in order to anticipate massive hoarding  by unresponsible culprits," he said.

About 13 officers will be deployed in the respective SPBU which consist of 11 policemen and two of the TNI (army). "In Banjarmasin, there were 12 gas stations," he said.

Two steps to be taken in anticipation of misuse of subsidized fuel. First is to work with the SPBU and fuel distributors.
