Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - A total of 13 thousand vehicle registration certificates (STNK) and vehicle ownership documents (BPKB) in South Kalimantan have not been printed due to the constraints of raw materials.


Chief of Subdit Regedint Ditlantas South Kalimantan Regional Police AKBP Abrianto Pardede here said on Monday that the debt for finishing thousands of unprinted STNK and BPKB are now beginning to be resolved.

"We move quickly to reduce the buildup of tens of thousands of STNK and the BKB," he said.

The rest about 13 thousand unprinted STNK and BPKB, he said, will be completed. So that the owners of new motor vehicles, may soon get the documents.

According to him, motor vehicle documents pending completion since last year and this mid-year makes the piling up task of tens of thousands of documents due to raw material exhausted, and this occurs throughout Indonesia.

Pardede said, the officers stayed up late night to accelerate STNK and BPKB processing since last 6 months. "In daylight we serve new submit documents, then in evening special for overtime work to finish the delayed task," he said.

He assured, that the completion of approximately 13 thousand vehicle documents to be completed in November.
