Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Flights schedule in Syamsudin Noor Airport for Banjarmasin - Surabaya - and vice versa returning to normal after nearly three days canceled due to the eruption of Mount Kelud in Kediri, East Java.

Head of Customer Services Section of PT Angkasa Pura I Syamsudin Noor Airport Anwar Budi said on Tuesday here flights to Surabaya and otherwise are normal since Monday (17/2).

"There are three airlines serving Banjarmasin - Surabaya routes namely are Lion Air, Garuda and Citylink and their flight schedules since Monday are normal after Juanda airport opened to flights," he said.

He said the Lion Air dominates flight to the provincial capital of East Java with 18 flights to and from, while 
Citylink and Garuda flight only twice a day.

"During the Juanda Airport was closed due to Kelud volcanic ash blanketed, the entire flights of Banjarmasin - Surabaya and otherwise canceled," said the senior official of PT Angkasa Pura I Syamsudin Noor.

According to him, it is different from Juanda Airport which has been operating since Monday, two other airports Adi Sucipto Yogyakarta and Adi Soemarmo Solo unopened so that flights are canceled.

Corresponding Notice to Airman ( Notam ) issued by Directorate General of Air Transportation, Adisucipto Airport to be opened on Wednesday (19/2), while Adi Soemarmo will operates on Thursday (20/2) at 08.00 am.
