The Kotabaru Central statistics Agency (BPS) took advantage of the crowd after morning exercise at the Siring Laut attraction, Sunday morning (March 16, 2020), by socializing the 2020 Population Census (SP2020).
To attract residents' interest, BPS Kotabaru has prepared various souvenirs for people who have filled in the data and submitted proof of data filling to the officers.
From monitoring, people enthusiastically visited the BPS stand. They wanted to get more information regarding the online census.
Head of BPS Kotabaru Sub-division of Administration Khairi Kholisin said the online population census was important.
"We invite all who present here together to succeed the SP2020, which uses the Disdukcapil (Civil Registry and Population Agency) database for the realization of single population data," Khairi said.
Madona Simatupang, BPS Kotabaru First Expert statistic added, the online population census is held during February 15 - March 31, 2020, followed by a door to door census in July-August 2020.
At the BPS stand, people who have already filled in the population data could exchange their data filling to get various kinds of souvenirs, such as umbrellas, glasses, books, calendars, and so on.
Previously, Head of the Kotabaru BPS Toyib Nasikun also held socialization on the SP2020 to all relevant parties in order to collaborate for the realization of the Indonesian single population data.
