Hundreds of bike lovers of bikers in the District of North Hulu Sungai (HSU), South Kalimantan, held a gathering of silaturrahmi by inviting bikers from various region to stengthen a good relationship and held a joint touring.
Head of the committee Habib Ridho Al Bahar here on Saturday (Feb 22, 2020) said, bikers from Aceh and Palu were among the invitees who came.
"Making an inter-island friendly relationship not only (of) Kalimantan (bikers), but also from Aceh, Palu, as well as Java, who came to the Amuntai," Ridho said.
He said, although they were in a large number, bikers obeyed traffic rules.
Bikers were encouraged to stay away from drugs, reckless driving on the road, but riding on the road should obey traffic signs, so they can be an example for bikers and people in other cities.
Meanwhile, Head of Youth, Sport, and Tourism Agency H.Fajeri Rifani, who represented the regent, reminded the millennial generation to spend ther time with positive activities.
"I welcome this activity, as it becomes a place for young people to gather and making positive activities," he said.
The silaturahmi among bikers was also filled with #Save Meratus# declaration as a form of concern and the role of the biker in maintaining the preservation of nature and environment in Kalimantan.
