The leading Indonesian coal mining company PT Adaro Indonesia was again named as the largest foreign exchange contributor in 2019.
The Customs Award certificate for Adaro was presented by Customs and Excise Directorate General for South Kalimantan's Head of Custom Facility Isja Baswejan to Adaro's management representative Abdurahman at the Customs and Excise Office in Banjarmasin, Tuesday (Feb 4, 2020).
In an official letter signed by Head of Banjarmasin Customs and Excise Office No. KEP-051/WBC.15/KPP.MP.01/2020 dated February 4, 2020, it was mentioned that Adaro has contributed brightly with the largest foreign exchange contribution in 2019.
Adaro was also appreciated as loyal in complying the various customs regulations and its commitment makes the company to win the appreciation from year to year.
PT Adaro Indonesia's Banjarmasin Representative Office (BRO) Manager Abdurahman remarked that the company's commitment to give a positive contribution as the largest foreign exchange contributor was a real manifest of its presence in the region as beneficial to society, nation, and state.
“This award worth to be grateful by all parties and we hope to inspire the spirit of keeping our commitment to making a positive contribution to all parties,” Abdurahman said.
“If there is an assumption that Adaro has not yet made many positive contributions to society, nation, and state, we think it is wrong," he stated.
Adaro also wants to maintain its commitment from year to year as a company that contributes positively to the region and the country. Including to promoting various programs that encourage the independence of the community around its mining operations and committed to becoming partners for all parties and stakeholders.
"With the presence of Adaro, of course, we have a strategy in implementing operational excellence, efficiency, within the company to maintain the balance of business process, the ultimate goal of which is to maximize positive contribution to society, the national, and the country," he said.
