Banjarmasin, South Kalaimantan (Antaranews) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has approved the proposal of Governor Rudy Ariffin for the development of water projects in South Kalimantan.

"I ask Public Works Minister Joko Kirmanto to synergize with the governor to discuss the development of water projects," the President said on groundbreaking projects and inauguration of the  Masterplan for the Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesian Economic Development (MP3EI) in Banjarbaru on Wednesday.

Not only water projects, the President asked that hopes of the governor and heads of districts and mayors in South 
Kalimantan can also be synergized to be realized soon,  according to the funding capability of the district, provincial and central government. President hopes the minister to be serious responding their hopes to sit together to discuss development projects.

The arrival of the President to the South Kalimantan for three days and two nights starting October 22 to 24. In 
addition to inaugurate and conduct several MP3EI groundbreaking projects, he also inaugurated the new central 
PWI committee elected.

On the occasion, South Kalimantan Governor said that there are eight MP3EI projects ready for the "groundbreaking", namely are Basirih Bridge  worth Rp118 billion. Construction of the bridge and side road access Gatot Subroto fly-over in Banjarmasin worth Rp185 billion and Rp224 billion. The three are in Banjarmasin.

Raw water pipeline water supply systems Bakula II regional Banjar along 5,458 meters with an investment of Rp66 
billion. Cement plant construction project of PT Conch South Kalimantan Cement in Saradang Village, subdistrict Haruai, Tabalong. Construction of palm oil mills PT Palmina Utama in the village of Makmur Karya, subdistrict Cintapuri Darussalam, Banjar District with an investment of Rp4 trillion.

Project development of palm oil mill PT Agri Bumi Sentosa in Village Ulu Benteng, subdistrict Marabahan, Barito Kuala district and palm oil mill project by the Cooperative Sinar Kencana in Seda Karang Bintang, subdistrict Karang Bintang, Tanah Bumbu regency worth Rp155 billion. Construction of palm oil mills by cooperatives Sinar Kencana Tanah Bumbu , with an investment of Rp102 billion.

While the projects inaugurated are the cooking oil factory (refinery) and dock PT Golden Hope Nusantara in Village Sungai Taib, subdistrict North Pulau Laut, Kotabaru district, with an investment of R1,2 billion.

Palm oil mills PT Astra Argo Lestari in Village Hayup, subdistrict Haruai, Tabalong. Rubber processing factory PT 
Kintap Jaya Watindo in Liang Anggang Village, subdistrict Bati-bati, Tanah Laut. Downstream industry of palm oil Plant PT SMART Tbk in the village of Tarjun, subdistrict Kelumpang Hilir, District Kotabaru Rp2,360 trillion.

Mining infrastructure development projects ( CPP & OC Asam-Asam; CPP , OLC & Port Kintap , CBU NPLCT) PT Arutmin Indonesia in the village Asam-Asam, Jorong subdistrict, Tanah Laut district and village Sarang Tiung, subdistrict North Pulau Laut, Kotabaru Rp1,586 trillion.

Dry iron ore plant construction PT Sebuku Iron Lateritic Ores in Sungai Bali Village, subdistrict Pulau Sebuku, Kotabaru Rp1,2 trillion. PLTU Asam-Asam Units 3 and 4 with a capacity of 2x65 MW of PT PLN ( Persero ) in the village of Asam-Asam, Jorong subdistrict, Tanah Laut regency Rp1,7 trillion.

Mine-mouth power plant PT Makmur Sejahtera Wisesa (PT Adaro Power Group), in Tabalong. container terminal Trisakti Port PT Pelindo III in Banjarmasi and palm oil mill PT Hasnur Citra Terpadu, Pandakan Village, subdistrict Central Tapin, Tapin district, Rp1,6 trillion. Then, development of port container dock Trisakti by PT Pelindo worth Rp430 billion. *** 3 ***
