The state primary school SDN Murung Sari 2 Amuntai, North Hulu Sungai, South Kalimantan, won first place in the national quality culture competition (LBM) for the category of learning.


The Education and Culture Ministry's Director of Elementary School Coaching Dhamim handed over the award to acting Headmaster of SDN Murung Sari 2 Amuntai Norheyni Zaida after the grand final of the competition in Surabaya.

Norheyni expressed her gratitude and proud as she never have thought that SDN Murung Sari 2 to set aside other 119 elementary schools participants in Indonesia.

"Hopefully our achievement to motivate other schools to achieve the similar achievement," she remarked.

She thanked the district government, especially the Education Agency, for all the support and assistance until the develoment of education quality in SDN Murung Sari 2 increased rapidly.

Director of Primary School Coaching Dhamim hoped other schools who have yet achieved the award not to discourgared and keep increasing education quality in their respective schools.

He said LBM is held to motivate elementary schools, in particular to boost the education quality with the result the student quality becomes better.
