Kotabaru, June 3(Antara) - The Kotabaru correctional center in South Kalimantan has destroyed 150 mobile phones of various brands seized from the prison inmates.
"The handsets, confiscated from the prisoners have been burned," head of the center Ahmad Junaidi said here on Monday.
The handset were confiscated from July to December, 2012, Junaedi said
He said the center also confiscated and destroyed other goods from the inmates including knives, scissors and electrical appliance.
"We are set to clean the center from anything illegal, and for that purpose, control would be tightened in the prison gate," he said.
He said raid would be launched regularly to ensure that no illegal activities in the prison.***1*** (AS)
