Kandangan (Antaranews) - Regional Executive Board of the Indonesian Youth National Committee (DPD KNPI) Hulu Sungai Selatan, South Kalimantan, preparing activities for Luran Text Proclamation Commemoration Governor Defence Navy Division IV Kalimantan.
Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Fathurahman in Kandangan, the capital of Hulu Sungai Selatan (HSS) District, on Friday, said the activity will be held on 17 to 20 May.
"2013 is our target number of participants of 160 teams. A team consists of five people, bringing the total amount to 800 people," he said.
Based on data from the organizing committee, the number of registered participants was 100 teams registered. In fact, he said, a registration was just open four days ago and will be closed until May 15.
Commemoration activities for Luran text of Governors Proclamation Defence Navy Division IV Kalimantan is an annual event held in collaboration with local government and the Navy Base Banjarmasin.
Activities to commemorate the proclamation of the Governor of Division IV Defence Navy Kalimantan on May 17, 1949 in the village of Mandapai, Kandangan, as a statement that the island of Borneo merupakn part of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (Republic of Indonesia).
Proclamation triggered, addressing Teak Linggar agreement on May 4, 1047, when the Netherlands de facto only recognized the Republic of Indonesia on Java, Madura and Sumatra.
He added that the activities carried out for four days and three nights across the four sub-districts, namely are Kandangan, Danau Langsat, Padang Batung and Loksado which wass the route through which the Division IV Defence Army Navy Kalimantan as create, carry and maintain Text Proclamation of May 17, 1949.
