Tanjung, (Antaranews, South Kalimantan) - A total of 1,089 students in Balangan regency, South Kalimantan, failed to sit the national exam (UN) on time, because nine schools have not yet received the exam papers.

Nine schools that have not received the exam papers are SMA 1 Paringin, SMA Ikhwan Muslimah, SMA Al Hidayah Inan, MAN 1 Paringin, MAN 2 Paringin, MAN Simpang Kiri Lampihong, SMK Negeri 1 Awayan, MA Darussalam Awayan and SMA Negeri 1 Juai.

According to the Head of Learning Section of the Balangan Education Agency, Fadli, the package of exam papers arrived on Thursday (18/4) morning at the police station in Tabalong. Until then schedule the exam, exam sheets still in the process of doubling.

"Implementation of UN remains today only at 12.00 pm to be delayed because about nine school has not received exam papers and still be replicated in Tanjung," he explained.

Accompanied by two members of the Police Resort Balangan and supervisors from the University of Lambung Mangkurat, the doubling for  nine schools using the copier belonging to the Tabalong Education Agency.

Fadli said Thursday morning it already inform to all the principal about UN-related delays which originally scheduled 7:30 am postphone to 12:00 pm. Another reason was that no photocopy shops were open at dawn, and duplication has to be done in Education Agency office in Tanjung.

In addition to 1,089 high school students who follow the UN in Balangan, there were 530 students who participated in the C package.
