Banjarmasin, (Antaranews Kalsel) – Resort City Police (Polresta) Banjarmasin now intensifies patrols by deploying 15 troops to use the vehicle mass decomposers (Ranraimas) to improve security and public order in the capital of South Kalimantan.

Sabhara Unit Chief Police Commissioner Haryono MT on Tuesday said troops Ranraimas taken from reserves to support the troops routinely patrol order situation in the city of Banjarmasin to be always in conducive conditions and prevent anything undesirable.

Target of  a two-wheel drive patrol was crowded centers or places visited by many communities, including Pasar Sentra Antasari, Pasar Sudimampir, and one mall in Banjarmasin. But they only do roving patrol for monitoring.

In addition to crowded places, they also conduct patrols in places prone to crime and criminals for anticipation.

"Ranraimas troops patrol will be conducted on a regular basis, because the force has been appointed to carry spare apples and patrol any specified time," he told Antara.
