Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Head of the South Kalimantan Office of Religious Affairs Ministry H Noor Fahmi revealed, about 400 Haj prospective who get the opportunity to leave this year did not pay the Hajj Travel Costs (BPIH) in the first stage until April 15, 2019.
"The second stage BPIH payment will be open from April 30 to May 10, 2019. This will be quota for other hajj candidates," he said in Banjarmasin on Saturday.
He revealed that the second stage of BPIH payment is prioritized for pilgrims who had already been on pilgrimage, but had been in line departing this year.
"Including also bringing together separate muhrim, as well as assistants for elderly pilgrim candidates," he explained.
According to Noor Fahmi, for haj prospective who cannot pay off the first stage of BPIH, their departure will be delayed next year.
"Those who have paid off BPIH for the first phase of the regular Hajj pilgrimage are 3,477 people since it was opened March 19 to April 15, 2019," he said.
The departure of this year's South Kalimantan hajj propective candidates is scheduled for the first flight on July 9, 2019.
"We have not yet selected which areas will depart first," he explained.
Noor Fahmi said, South Kalimantan pilgrims during the pilgrimage in the city of Makkah will occupy the Rai Bas area, which is about 700 meters from the Masjidil Haram.
