Marabahan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Head of Rights of the Child Compliance South Kalimantan Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DP3A) Office Andrian Anwary said South Kalimantan targets a child-friendly province in its 2018-2021 Medium-Term Development Plan.
"The central government annually evaluates all districts, cities, and provinces to determine child-friendly city," Andrian Anwary said in Marabahan on Wednesday.
In this connection, he said, it is desirable that moral and technical support from all task forces be carried out in the action plan, especially in the assessment of child-friendly districts and cities.
He hopes that all regencies and cities will get awards as a child-friendly city so that the target of South Kalimantan province as a child-friendly province is realized.
Separately, Deputy Regent of Barito Kuala H Rahmadian Noor revealed, a friendly city for children is certainly also friendly for adults. To make it happen, he explained, the determination and commitment from the relevant agencies must be initiated.
Child-friendly city development, he explained, requires the involvement of all parties, both government, community, family and business world, which are planned, comprehensive and sustainable.
"At least fulfill urgent matters in relation to fulfilling children's basic rights such as education, health, and other issues," he said.
