In one month, the transaction value of the trade in forest products can reach more than Rp20 billion.
Such as trade transactions during April 2018 exceeded Rp26 billion for all forest product trading transactions.
In fact, he added, in transactions with East Java businessmen and national businessmen held in the Grand City of Surabaya on April 28, South Kalimantan forest product trade dominated the transaction.
Some types of forest products that are quite popular in the market, besides cinnamon, are peeled pecan, candlenut, coconut shell charcoal, and others.
In addition, the marine industry in the form of seaweed is also a sector that is seen by national entrepreneurs, then garlic.
Previously, the Head of the South Kalimantan Forestry Service, Dr. Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, was convinced that forests could become the center of new economic growth if managed properly and correctly in the regions.
