Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Commission III of the South Kalimantan Legislative Council (DPRD) in charge of transportation has appreciated the agreement of the online taxi and conventional taxi management in the province.
"With such cooperation, we hope it will not cause any problems in the future, and people transportation can run smoothly and harmoniously," said Secretary of Commission III H Riswandi SIP in Banjarmasin, Monday.
However, he reminded, each manager and driver should comply with all laws and regulations, including Transportation Minister Decree (Permen) No. 108/2017.
As an example of a roadworthiness test (KIR) mandatory, and there must be a legal entity, and other provisions that also apply to online taxis must be run.
He also expects them to provide professional transportation services. "Professional, among others, compete in healthy ways, provide the best service to consumers if do not want to be left behind by service users," said Riswandi.
Previously, the South Kalimantan Transportation Agency socialized the Transportation Ministry Decree No.108/2017 by inviting both online and conventional managers and drivers.
The results of the meeting, the operators of online and conventional taxis agreed to cooperate with the fixed reference to the prevailing laws and regulations, as well as the principle of mutual benefit.
