Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Public Relation Board of Banjarmasin Municipal Government brought reporters to visit Bandung Command Center (BCC) belongs to the local government's Communications and Informatics Agency (Diskominfo).
"With the visit to BCC journalists are expected to publish what has been done by the Bandung City Government, so as to encourage policymakers to make Smart City program a priority to be realized," said Head of Banjarmasin City's Public Relations Husni Thamrin in Bandung to AntaranewsKalsel.
Meanwhile, Head of Banjarmasin Communications, Informatics and Statistics Agency Hermansyah who accompanied the visit expressed the PR idea to bring journalists to BCC is very appropriate.
"The visit to BCC is very strategic value, so reporters have a picture of how Bandung embodies Smart City," he said.
"Hopefully what we see together can be implemented in Banjarmasin, let alone the target of Mayor Ibnu Sina to make Banjarmasin a Smart City in 2019," said Hermansyah.
"BCC facilitates the public to get information quickly and accurately," said Head of Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of Bandung Government Information Management Center Furqon Hanafi when receiving the delegation of Banjarmasin.
According to Furqon, since the Bandung City Government conceptualized the Smart City, the entire infrastructure continues to be addressed. Beginning with data integration, Human Resources, applications to governance, so that Smart City became more comprehensive.
"So the BCC is what can be said to be the center of Bandung City Smart City which was launched on January 19, 2015," he explained.
