Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Kotabaru Legislative Council (DPRD) Speaker Suwanti hopes that repairs to the new office building at the Sebelimbingan government complex in North Pulau Laut Sub-district can be accommodated in the 2026 Revised Budget (APBD-P).
Suwanti made this statement amidst the ongoing uncertainty regarding the relocation from the old DPRD office to the new one.
"We hope this can be realized so that we can move there quickly, in accordance with the Regent's directive," said Suwanti in Kotabaru, as reported on Friday.

Suwanti revealed that funding for repairs to several facilities, including the ceiling, has been allocated again in the 2026 Revised Budget.
The building, a large structure with a luxurious interior, was completed several years ago. However, the collapse of a ceiling section in one of the rooms subsequently delayed its occupancy.
Previously, the DPRD had targeted moving into the two-story building by the end of 2026, following repairs funded by the 2026 main budget.
Suwanti hopes the budget allocation in the 2026 Revised Budget will be approved, enabling the necessary repairs to be carried out so the building can be occupied soon.
