Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Kotabaru District held a peak of its 76th anniversary, attended by Deputy Governor of South Kalimantan H Hasnuryadi Sulaiman at the Siring Laut attraction.

Kotabaru Regent H Muhammad Rusli stated that "Kotabaru Hebat," the theme of the anniversary, is a shared commitment of the government and community to continue synergizing to realize development based on the values of harmony, energy, unity, trustworthiness and resilience.

“With the spirit of Kotabaru Hebat, Kotabaru is expected to become increasingly advanced, competitive, prosperous and able to make a real contribution to welcoming the Golden Indonesia 2045,” he remarked in Kotabaru, Monday.

He is confident that with the support of all level of government and the people of Kotabaru will be able to achieve the government's vision and-mission.

“I always believe that the support of all levels of government and the community of Kotabaru will give us strength to fulfill all our duties and obligations to the best of our ability,” he said.

He also expressed his appreciation for the provincial government's continued support for the development in Kotabaru.

“Without togetherness and mutual cooperation, we will not be able to progress this far,” he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy Governor H Hasnuryadi Sulaiman read the remarks of South Kalimantan Governor, who applauded the performance of Kotabaru Regent and his team for their dedication, commitment, and hard work in leading and developing Kotabaru District.

“I am very proud of the various accomplishments Kotabaru has achieved, including the winner of Creative Financing at the 2026 Regional Government Achievement Award,” he said.

The progress of Kotabaru Regency has also been felt in the education, health, economy, social and development sectors.
