Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Kotabaru Tourism, Youth and Sport Agency (Disparpora) in collaboration with the district's National Sports Commmittee of Indonesia (KONI) and Kotabaru cycling community held the 2025 Kotabaru HEBAT Funbike event.
Kotabaru's Assistant for Government and Community Welfare H Minggu Basuki expressed his gratitude for the extraordinary enthuiasm of people for participating in this event.
“Alhamdulillah (Thank God), more than 500 people attended. This is not only about cycling, but also a place to strengthen harmony and foster a healthy lifestyle in the Kotabaru community,” he said here as reported on Tuesday.

He hopes that funbike activities continue to be held regularly, with new innovations and creativity o encourage people more to exercise.
"During holidays, people don't just cycling, they also engage in other sport activities such as fun walking,running, or healthy family activities. This is part of our collective efforts to create a healthy, intelligent, and dignified Kotabaru community,” he expounded.
Head of Kotabaru Tourism, Youth and Sport Office Sonny Tua Halomoan appreciated all participants and committees who have contributed to the success of this event.

"The growing enthusiasm year after year shows that our community is increasingly embracing cycling as a healthy lifestyle and a way to strengthen ties," he said.
Sonny announced the next cycling event, titled the Tour de Saijaan Road Bike, will be held on November 30, 2025, covering a challenging route of approximately 113 kilometers, from Siring Laut to Sungai Pinang and back.
