Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Banjarmasin Military Command (Kodim) 1007 handed over millions of Zenith pills to the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BBPOM) here after some time ago its intel unit secured the dangerous drug.
"The handover millions of Zenith pills to BBPOM to be followed up with investigation and the legal process," said Chief of Staff Kodim 1007/Banjarmasin Inf Major Herman Rahman here on Monday.
He said the Zenith pills submitted totaling 1,501,000 or 79 bales/cardboard with two types of logo, mother child and panda.
Handover of evidence was made on Monday afternoon around 14:30 pm took place in the Kodim 1007/Banjarmasin hall.
"After handover, we will monitor and oversee the investigation of the owner and origin of the dangerous drug," said he who graduated from the Military Academy class of 2001.
Meanwhile, Head of BBPOM Mahdelana said upon acceptance from the military BBPOM then will conduct investigations and examinations of the origin of the sender and recipient of the G-class drug which license has been revoked.
In conducting the investigation, BBPOM will not walk alone, and will be assisted by the police as one team in the eradication of harmful drug.
However, she said, if the investigation found no suspected owner of millions of dangerous drugs, then BBPOM will wait for the Warrant of Termination of Investigation (SP3).
"When later SP3 came out then the case suspended for investigation and the evidence will be immediately destroyed," she said after the handover of the evidence.
The G-class drug was secured on Friday (11/11) afternoon around 10:30 pm from a forwarding company in Trisakti Port. The owners was not in place and the evidence then secured in Kodim.
