Kandangan, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Some 45 officers of the Kandangan Class IIB Detention Center in Kandangan, South Hulu Sungai (HSS), received the second COVID-19 vaccination.
"This activity is carried out as a prevention and to counter COVID-19, especially in the detention center of Class IIB Kandangan," said head of the detention center Jeremia Leonta, Wednesday (Mar 24, 2021).
All employees of the detention center together with medical personnel from the vaccinator team of the Kandangan community health center and the HSS Health Office attended the vaccination.

From a total of 54 employees, only 45 could be vaccinated, 1 person had a diarrhe, 1 person with heart disease.
In addition, two employees with hypertension, one with epistaxis, one person on leave of marriage, and one person has a family needs because his child was hospitalized, and one person in operational control aid (BKO).
He said that the results of the activity were subsequently reported to the head of the South Kalimantan Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights through Head of the Correction Division of the office. In general, the vaccination was running smoothly by applying health protocols.
