Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - As many as 150 products from MSMEs, who were under the guidance of PT Adaro Indonesia, were sold out in one hour during the flash sale, Wednesday (March 3, 2021).
Flash sale was the closing of the series of Adaro Kuatkan UMKM (AKU) 2021 or Adaro Strengthen MSMEs activities. Adaro employees and partners participate here through the Zoom app.
All products, from food, handicrafts, to typical sasirangan fabrics, were sold at a 50 percent discount price. The activity was scheduled for two hours but finished in one hour because the goods were sold out.
"The enthusiasm of participants was very high, they can get premium goods at half the price," said Chief Executive of AKU Lalu Nofa Setiawan.
"The total sales of MSME products from this program were IDR35 million," said Lalu.

Previously, PT Adaro Indonesia, through CSR initiated the AKU program by providing digital marketing training to MSMEs around its operational areas.
A total of 180 MSMEs from six districts, namely Tabalong, Balangan, HSU, Barito Kuala, Barito Timur, Barito Selatan took part in training from February 19 to March 3, 2021, through Zoom.
According to Lalu, the activity focused on strengthening the capacity of MSMEs in online marketing of products and helping them to survive in the midst of the pandemic storm.
“From this program, we expect that MSMEs can expand their product marketing, not only locally and regionally, but nationally and even to export abroad,” he said.
