To this end, the government will give due weightage to the 3M campaign of wearing masks, washing hands, and practicing social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19, he noted during a press conference via Instagram @perekonomianri here on Friday,
Furthermore, the government will encourage active participation of military and police personnel to promote public discipline in abiding by the health protocols, he remarked.
Hartarto highlighted that the government will conduct a 3T campaign of tracking, tracing, and testing COVID-19 cases.
The trial of enforcing discipline among people in following health protocols in eight districts and cities and a province classified as red zones or areas with high rates of COVID-19 infection and transmission has yielded positive results, he revealed.
Disciplinary enforcement will be maintained in the next few months in a bid to change the red zones to yellow zones and later to green zones, he affirmed.
The PSBB approaches, with emphasis on COVID-19 clusters, have also begun to make progress, and self-isolation will be based on the sources of transmission without sacrificing other areas, he stated.
"We learn that the one-size-fits-all approach is no longer relevant since the clusters of COVID-19 transmission differ from one location to the other. Accordingly, the program to handle COVID-19 will be different based upon the characteristics of the clusters," he noted.
The minister noted that the realization of budget funding for COVID-19 handling and economic recovery had reached Rp254.4 trillion, or 36.6 percent of the ceiling of Rp695.2 trillion as of September 16, 2020.
Meanwhile, realization of the health budget reached Rp18.45 trillion, or 21.1 percent of the Rp87.55-trillion ceiling.
