Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - As the worse flood hit the District of Tabalong in South Kalimantan, PT Adaro Indonesia and its partners keep distributing various assistance to help flood victims.
Adaro and partners since the flood disaster occurred have coordinated with the Regent of Tabalong Anang Syakhfiani about the technical distribution of assistance.
"The directive from the regent, logistic assistance is collected at the Social Agency to be then distributed to make it right on target," Adaro's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Head Djoko Soesilo said.
So far, Adaro, PT SIS, PT Pama, and PT Buma in Tabalong, have distributed assistance of Rp65 million. "That does not include a contribution from employees. Some donated staple food packed rice, and others," he said.

In addition to logistical assistance, Adaro and partners also built a flood care command post just across the Jelita Hotel, Tanjung.
"The command post is built to help with evacuation and other assistance needed by the victims," Djoko pointed out.
The post, which operates 24 hours a day is equipped with adequate equipment and teams to carry out disaster response activities. Here it has rescue team, paramedics, and doctors.
Adaro and partners not only distributing basic need assistance in Tabalong but also in Balangan and North Hulu Sungai (HSU) districts.
