Head of South Kalimantan Office of religious Affairs Ministry H Noor Fahmi admitted hajj worship waiting list is getting longer in the province. Hajj prospectives have to spend until 30 year to wait.
The reason is the number of people in line has reached 116 thousand, he revealed on Sunday (Oct 20, 2019). "The estimation to reach 30 years base on the annual hajj quota of 4,155 worshippers," he pointed out.

Indeed, Noor Fahmi acknowledged, the regular hajj of Banjarmasin Embarkation for South Kalimantan obtained an additional quota for one flight group (keloter) in the 2019 hajj season. If previously the quota was 3,831 pilgrim, but with the additional quota from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the number was added with 325 pilgrims in 2019 to reach a total of 4,155.

"We expect the hajj quota for our region to remain the same, or even will get another significant addition, so we can cut the very long line of hajj," he said.
Related to evaluation of the 2019 hajj season, Noor Fahmi, it has been done, and the deficiencies to be fixed next year. "We have conducted evaluation starting from the departure from the origin of the pilgrims till the dormitory," he explained.
Noor Fahmi showed the Central Statistics Agency's survey for the 2019 pilgrimage service nationally with the result very satisfy. "So the result of the survey of hajj service was very satiefied, but we will increase it," he said.
