Kotabaru Legislative Council (DPRD) asked the executive (local government) to improve the quality and quantity of infrastructure in the sub-district, especially roads and bridges.

In the recommendation delivered by H Asmail from the PKS faction on Friday, the DPRD said that the construction of roads and bridges in the sub-districts, which are far from urban areas, seemed rather slow.

As a result, the economic movement of the people in the village is moving slowly, while the road is a facility for their economy.

The legislative suggested the need for more supervision in improving the quality of building, roads and bridges. Not only concerns the quantity or distribution, but also the quality, both material and the results of the work should be better.

Meanwhile, Regent H Sayed Jafar in his remarks revealed that the success of development in Kotabaru was inseparable from the full participation of all members of the council.

"On this occasion, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all DPRD members who have been pleased to review and discuss the Kotabaru government accountability report (LKP) for the 2018 budget," he said.

According to the regent, the recommendations of the DPRD are information and references in carrying out internal reforms in the scope of local government in realizing the vision of regional development and to support the implementation of good and clean governance.
