Marabahan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The Barito Kuala District government has improved its performance as assessed by the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) Ministry in the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP).


Barito Kuala (Batola) won grade B in 2018 SAKIP. This is a significant achievement, while in 2017 it got a value of CC.

All from South Kalimantan are nine districts and cities who won the same category, namely Banjarbaru City, Banjar District, Tapin, HSU, Balangan, Tabalong, Tanah Laut, and Tanah Bumbu. 

The highest achievement won by the Provincial Government of South Kalimantan. Together with East Java, it won the highest A category and named as the two best nationally in region 2 which covers Jakarta, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), East Nusa Tenggara (NTT),  Lampung, and North Kalimantan.

While Banjarmasin and South Hulu Sungai (HSS) won BB grade, and two other districts, namely Kotabaru and HST received CC. 

Regent Batola Hj Noormiliyani AS received the award in the submission of the Phase II Evaluation Report covering 11 provinces and 150 districts and cities in Kalimantan, Lampung, East Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, and Jakarta.

The award was handed over by the Secretary General of the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs Hadi Prabowo at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Banjarmasin, Wednesday.

Hadi Prabowo appreciated the Ministry of PAN-RB for escorting, assisting, encouraging and evaluating the implementation of SAKIP.

He said, the existence of SAKIP has changed the mindset and culture of performance. Moreover, the Ministry of Home Affairs always outlines that the inappropriate targets must be properly examined in the use of the budget, either in the fields of education, health, and development that often occur.
