Amuntai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The North Hulu Sungai (HSU) Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) offers to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) product marketing tips to be able to penetrate the wider market.

"The method is to use packaging and labels by including marketing authorization, ingredients, date of expire and product benefits," said Head of BPOM HSU Bambang Heri Purwanto in Amuntai on Saturday.

Bambang said that to reach a wider market, it must market products that consumers can trust in terms of quality and benefits.

In the modern era, he said, consumers tend to look for products that are clearly its halal and quality, and the composition of the ingredients used, especially if there are benefits to health. All product information will only be trusted by consumers, especially if there is a permit from the Food and Drug Agency.

BPOM will not arbitrarily give marketing permits for a product unless it has been confirmed through laboratory tests on food samples and guidance to MSME business actors.

"With the production permit, consumers know that the product processing has met the standard requirements and under the supervision of the Food and Drug Agency," he said.
