Kandangan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Regent H Achmad Fikry accompanied by Deputy Regent Syamsuri Arsyad saw off the Gowes Part 2 Explore Antaludin held in the series of the 68th-anniversary commemoration of the district.
He said, this Gowes Part 2 is a gathering place for bike sport lovers and this will be the right medium for exchanging information as well as to promote HSS tourism.
"The expectation is that the implementation should be better, the event to be bigger with a different touch, so the echo is not only in the province but to a wider level," he said on Sunday (9/12).
According to him, cycling is one of the sports and the participants should uphold the value of sportsmanship and show their abilities seriously.
Bank Kalsel branch of Kandangan Head Andhy Andriyawan said he fully supported the sport event in HSS, especially Gowes Part 2 Explore Antaludin.
He also hopes in the future this cycling event (gowes) to be packaged on a larger scale as one of the attractions of tourism in HSS.
Before releasing Gowes Part 2 participants, the Regent first handed over tree seeds to a youngest and an oldest goweser. This was a symbolic form of greening and tree planting programs.
Gowes Part 2 Explore Antaludin took a route with a start in front of the Bank Kalsel to go to Gunung Layang-Layang.
