Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Kotabaru Naval Base headquarters invited all levels of society to visit the Republic of Indonesia Warship (KRI) Dewa Kembar-932 at Pelindo Stagen Port, Kotabaru.
The open ship, said the Naval Base Commander Marine Lt. Col. (E) Joko Andriyanto, S.T., M.Tr. Hanna in his press release, is on December 5, 2018.
The Commander said the Kotabaru Naval Base will hold Indonesian Fleet Day ceremony on that day. It will then continue with KRI Dewa Kembar-932 open ship. Here a number of weapons and marine survey tools exhibition held.
KRI Dewa Kembar-932 is a Navy Center for Hydrographic and Oceanographic (Pushidrosal) element that carries out survey operations with bathymetry measurement, investigation of shipping hazards, and seafloor imaging using side-scan sonar in Tanjung Pelayar waters, Kotabaru.
KRI Dewa Kembar-932 Commander Marine Lt. (P) Guruh Dwi Yudhanto said Pushidrosal is task with assisting the Navy Chief of Staff in the development of hydro-oceanography (hydros) which included surveys, research, marine mapping, publications, application of the marine environment, and navigation safety, both for the benefit of the TNI and for the public interest.
