Barabai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews South Kalimantan) - The Government of Central Hulu Sungai (HST) District fully supports the 103rd TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD) in 2018 by allocating Rp1,705,655,000 of local budget (APBD) funds, said Acting Regent HA Chairasnyah.


Acting Regent was speaking on the sidelines of the TMMD Technical Coordination Meeting in Jakarta, Tuesday (28/8) with the HST Legislative Council (DPRD) speaker, 1002 Barabai Military Commander (Dandim) and the Head of the HST PMD Office.

According to the TMMD plan in the HST, it will be held in Awang Village, Batang Alai Utara Subdistrict, from 16 October to 14 November 2018.

He expects all components of society to support the successful implementation of TMMD in order to progress their village with the development of various things.

Meanwhile, the 1002 Barabai Military Commander Lieutenant Colonel Inf Nur Rohman Zein said this year the TMMD has the theme "TNI Integrated with People in Realizing Advanced, Prosperous and Democratic Villages".

"Hopefully this program can be beneficial for many people, especially residents in Batang Alai Utara," he said.

Two types of TMMD activities are planned, physical and non-physical. Its physical activities are the construction of a 4.2 km long road embankment, 2.1 km of non-asphalt road with a 5-meter width and 6 pieces of culvert installation.

While non-physical activities are agricultural and plantation counseling, state defense counseling and national insight, drug counseling, legal counseling, public security, and order (kamtibmas) counseling, social counseling and radical understanding.

TMMD also contains information on traffic laws, religious lectures, family planning counseling and environmental health as well as military campaigns on the recruiting of TNI soldiers.

The implementers are the HST Government, 1002 Barabai Military Command (Kodim), 621 Manuntung Battalion, 101 Antasari Provincial Military Command (Korem), Yon Zipur 8/GM and Banjarmasin Denkesyah.
