Pamekasan, (Antaranews Kalsel) - Madura United FC brought as many as 18 players to Banjarmasin to face Barito Putra in the second round of Liga 1 Indonesia at the 17 Mei Stadium Banjarmasin, on Saturday (28/7).


"The players have left for Banjarmasin," said Madura United FC manager Haruna Soemitro per phone in Pamekasan, East Java, on Thursday night.

According to him, the players who trafficked to Banjarmasin was considered very ready to face the game.

"They are players who are fix and ready to face the game and we hope Madura achieves full points at Barito Putra home," said Gomes.

Game against Barito Putra for Madura United FC is the inaugural match in the second round.

Of the 18 players of the pride football club for the community of Salt Island, all are old players, and no new players.

In the Liga 1 Indonesia competition, Madura United FC will undergo 17 matches, both home and away games. Currently, the club is in fifth position standings with 26 points from 17 matches.

While Barito Putra was second in the standings of Liga 1 Indonesia in the first round with 28 points from 17 matches. Same with PSM Makassar who also won 28 points and ranks fourth.
