Tanjung, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Government of Tabalong has received the airport certificate (SBU) for its Tanjung Warukin Airport from the Ministry of Transportation as a permit for the operation of the airport.
Head of the Transportation Agency Imam Fahrullazi in Tanjung on Wednesday said the certificate from the Director General of Air Transportation is for the status of a special airport serving domestic flights.
"The airport certificate has been received and is operational," explained Imam.
However, the operation of the airport is still awaiting the result of negotiation between PT Pertamina as airport manager with travel party related to ticket price.
In the certificate of airport signed by the Director General of Air Transportation Agus Santoso, Number 062/SBU-DBU/III/2018 mentioned the type of aircraft used ATR 72 - 500 and the like.
"Flight test has been done by PT Pelita Air Service for the type of aircraft ATR 72 last December," explained Head of Tanjung Warukin Airport Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Rizky Maulana.
He said the Joint Operation (KSO) between PT Pertamina through its subsidiary PT Pelita Air Service with the local government for the operation of the airport has been signed.
