Martapura, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjar Regent H Khalilurrahman handed over three tractors to farmers group (Kelompok Tani) Karya Sepakat, Maju Bersama, and Cooperative (Koperasi) Karya Sepakat at a joint ceremony in the yard of Banjar District Government Office on Monday (12/02).
The regent said these tractors assistance to support plantation and agricultural activities in the Subdistrict of Karang Intan and Aranio.
He hopes these tractors can provide the most for plantation and agriculture, let alone the territory of Karang Intan and Aranio have a large potential of plantation and agricultural land.
Regent who was accompanied by a number of district government officials advised that tractors have been delivered to be operated well, not just become scrap metal, and eventually damaged.
He also asked the tractors to be well cared and even better if farmers groups in Aranio and Karang Intan have a mutual agreement between them to care for the tractors already delivered.
Farmers Group Karya Sepakat Chairman Khairul Anwar after receiving the tractor thanking for the assistance.
He requested the Food Crops and Horticulture Agency to notify the tractor operation techniques in order to avoid errors in their use. He is optimistic the results of plantation and agriculture in 2018 will increase.
